Home Remedies for Indigestion



Indigestion:

                                  Dyspepsia is also known as Stomach upset or indigestion. It is a medical condition of impaired digestion. It is a condition characterized by chronic or recurrent pain in the upper abdominal fullness and feeling full earlier than expected when eating. It can be accomplished by bloating, belching, nause or heartburn. Lets see the home remedies for this.













GINGER:

                 Take equal amounts of ginger powder, black pepper, dried mint leaves, asafetida (hing), anise seeds, coriander seeds, cumin, fennel and common salt. Grind together to make a fine powder. Take about 1 teaspoon of this powder with water, twice a day after meals.



BUTTERMILK:

                 Drinking buttermilk after a meal improves digestion. Roasted cumin seeds and a little salt in the buttermilk enhances its effectiveness.



GINGER AND LEMON:

                A teaspoon of ginger juice mixed in a quarter cup of warm water can be taken twice a day and add a teaspoon of lemon juice and a pinch of salt can be added to make it.



WATER:

                Drinking water gives immediate relief to symptoms like wind, distended stomach and acidity. So drink lots of water in a day.


LEMON JUICE:

                  Lemon juice mixed in warm water taken three times a day improves digestion.
